Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is coming to India and the company has confirmed the launch date just a day after its launch in China. The flip phone will be announced on July 4 and the teaser also reveals that Motorola will also introduce a pair of new wireless earbuds alongside the Moto Razr 50 Ultra device. Since the device is already available outside the country, we already know about its specs and the price is the only part that remains a mystery.
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra has been launched in China at CNY 5,699, which is roughly Rs 65,470. However, the India price is expected to be higher than the China price, as is usually the case. To recall, the Moto Razr 40 Ultra was announced at Rs 89,999. So, the new phone is also expected to be priced in the same price range, even with new upgrades as the previous model was already a bit expensive. Since the teaser of the device is live on Amazon, it means that the device will be made available through this e-commerce platform. Here's a look at the specs of the upcoming Motorola phone.
Motorola Razr 50 Ultra Specifications
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. It comes with a larger cover screen with thinner bezels than its predecessor, which is likely to deliver a better experience in terms of quick content consumption on an external screen. The pOLED panel has a 1080p resolution, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and HDR10+ support. The refresh rate of the display adjusts between 1Hz-165Hz. When the flip is folded, one will be able to watch videos, check navigation details, check them while taking selfies, and do other tasks on the external screen.
When you open it up, you get a 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED screen, which is bigger than what users are offered in traditional phones. The screen inside has a better 120 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut. The refresh rate is the same as the cover screen. The panel inside has a touch sample rate of 360Hz and a peak brightness of 3000nits. There is also a 32-megapixel sensor on the front.
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra has received a major upgrade in terms of camera. The new version features a 50-megapixel f/1.7 main camera and a 50-megapixel f/2.0 telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom. Under the hood, there is a 4,000mAh battery, which is slightly bigger than the 3,800mAh battery seen on the previous version. There is support for faster 45W fast charging technology, which is up from the 30W wired charging on the Razr 40 Ultra model. Motorola has also provided support for 15W wireless charging. The device is IPX8 water-resistant, which was not the case on the older version.
