NEET PG 2024 date by next week, says NBE president Abhijit Sheth | Competitive Examinations

Days after the Union Health Ministry postponed the National Eligibility and Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET-PG) 2024 examination on June 23, President, National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences Abhijit Sheth said on Tuesday. SOPs and protocols will be reviewed. As soon as possible and next date of exam will be announced by next week.

Sheth's statement came after a review meeting was held between the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences and the Union Health Ministry, to get the situation and inputs received by the government before postponing the exam.

The government has postponed the NEET-PG 2024 examinations following the growing controversy over alleged examination “irregularities” in the NEET-UG examination held on May 5.

“The integrity of the exam has never been in doubt as far as NEET PG is concerned. For the past seven years, we have conducted it successfully so far… Due to recent events, what has happened is that everyone There were many concerns about these types of exams from the student community and in response, the government has once again decided to ensure that the exam is safe and secure. We will announce the next fixed date as soon as possible in the next one week.
