New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Sunday arrested Dixit Patel, owner of Jajalaram School. Godhra, Gujarat, in connection with the alleged malpractice in the NEET-UG examination. The CBI investigation is on as they seek to uncover the full extent of the corruption involved in the NEET-UG examination at the centre.

According to sources, he used to work for a Hindi newspaper called 'Prabhat Khabar'. CBI investigations revealed that he was an alleged accomplice of the two accused officials of Oasis School in Hazaribagh, who were arrested earlier.
On Friday, the CBI also arrested the principal and vice-principal of Oasis School in Hazaribagh.
The accused principal, Dr Ehsanul Haq, was the district coordinator of NEET examination in Hazaribagh and his deputy Imtiaz Alam was the NTA observer as well as the center superintendent at Oasis School.
The CBI investigation revealed that it took place from Lake Oasis School. The boxes containing the question papers were kept in the banks and had two locks – a manual lock with a key and a digital one which opened with a beep sound 45 minutes before the exam.
