There's a new way to do business with Maricopa County.
The county launched its brand new online permitting system this week. Permit Center Consolidates existing permit systems across County departments into one comprehensive platform for permit review, inspections, payments, and more.
“For the past several years, we have been expanding online permitting services to make it more convenient for customers to submit and obtain information that helps them complete a project,” said District 1 Board of Supervisors Chairman Jack Sellers. What's new?
The new system includes a dashboard feature where a customer can view all of their permit activities, including active permits, outstanding invoices, and inspection status. It also has an Application Helper, which guides users through a series of questions to get them where they need to go. Extensive GIS mapping capabilities further enhance the user experience.

Who is involved?
Use of county departments Permit Center Environmental Services (ENV), Planning and Development (PND), Flood Control District (FCD) and Department of Transportation (MCDOT). Management of Air Quality (AQ) permits will continue in the same system they are currently using. However, that system can be accessed Permit Center,
Do I need a permit?
If your project or work involves food, air quality, other environmental factors or flood control, you will need a Maricopa County permit. If your project or work is taking place within unincorporated Maricopa County, you will need a Maricopa County permit.
