The past few weeks have seen some big livestreams from PlayStation and Xbox, and now it's time for the Nintendo Direct June 2024 livestream and all the announcements that come with it. A Nintendo Direct or related livestream has taken place every June since 2012, and this year's edition will focus on games releasing in the latter half of 2024. As with previous livestreams during the Summer Showcase month, we'll be covering the event live and you can press your F5 key to refresh this page periodically to see the latest announcements.
The Switch games we know about for this year include Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, and Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition. Then there are some unknown games, such as Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, and games without a release date like Pokémon Legends: ZA.
Most of these will be 2025 games, and we're expecting at least one new trailer. Also missing are action games like Metroid Prime 4 and Hollow Knight: Silksong. Could we finally get a glimpse of these much-anticipated titles? Or will we see Nintendo expand its Zelda library with a long-awaited port of Wind Waker? We'll have to watch the stream to find out And You will probably be disappointed.
Finally, you can count on third-party support for the Switch, as dozens of indie games are released on the system every week. The Star Named Eos, Thank Goodness You're Here, and Wild Bastards are just some of the many games that Switch owners can look forward to.
