OnePlus Nord Buds 3 entry-level wireless earbuds were launched in India today at an aggressive price of Rs 2,299. They are a step down from the Nord Buds 3 Pro in OnePlus' audio lineup, but they bring a number of high-end features including Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and up to 43 hours of battery life at a more affordable price.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 feature a 12.4mm titanised diaphragm and copper wire coil for deep bass and crisp treble. They support OnePlus' BassWave 2.0 technology as well as 3D audio for a more immersive listening experience. The 32dB active noise cancellation is a key USP that allows background noise to be cancelled out. While the AI Clear Calls feature, coupled with the dual-mic system, can improve voice clarity during calls. A Transparency mode is available for when you want to stay aware of your surroundings while listening to music. Completing the package are Bluetooth 5.4, Fast Pair, and Dual Connection.
OnePlus offers three Master EQ modes for quick customisation and fine-tuning – Balanced, Serenade, and Bass.
The earbuds and charging case follow the design template of the Nord Buds 3 Pro, with a vertical soap-style charging case and in-ear earbuds with a waterdrop-shaped stem. OnePlus says the new Nord Buds 3 are 10 percent smaller and lighter than its previous model, weighing just 4.2 grams. They are available in two colours – Harmonic Grey and Melodic White. The IP55-rated earbuds are also water and dust resistant.
Battery life is another big highlight, with OnePlus promising up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) turned off. When paired with the charging case, the Nord Buds 3 can deliver a total of 43 hours of listening time. Fast charging is supported for a quick top-up of 10 minutes, which offers up to 11 hours of playback. The Nord Buds 3 are being billed as the world's first TWS earbuds to receive the TÜV Rheinland Battery Health certification, which ensures that at least 80 percent of the battery capacity is retained after 1,000 charging cycles.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 wireless earbuds are priced at Rs 2,299 and will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and offline partner stores starting September 20.
