Over 300 mobile phones stolen during power outage at music concert in Sector 59

More than 300 mobile phones of attendees were stolen due to a power failure during a music concert by a Dutch artist at the Backyard Sports Club in Gurugram Sector-59 on Monday. The incident took place around 8.30 pm where the police were also present but failed to stop the theft.

After the power was restored, many people realized that their mobile phones were missing. They reached the Sector-65 police station to file a complaint. One of the victims, Shaurya Gupta, said that she and her three friends were in the VIP lane and lost their mobiles during the power outage.

The in-charge of Sector 65 police station said that a case has been registered and they have started an investigation to find out the reason for the power outage during the concert. Police officials also said that the EMI numbers of all the stolen mobiles will be put on the tracing soon so that the thieves can be caught.

The incident has raised many questions about the safety of people at concerts where their valuables are not protected. Meanwhile, the police have appealed to the public to be cautious and keep their valuables safe while attending such events.
