Hip-hop mogul, Diddy, was spotted relaxing in Central Park hours before he was arrested in a Manhattan hotel room late last night.

The rapper was spotted enjoying the sun in Central Park, wearing a baggy black vest.

U.S. Attorney Damien Williams said Combs, 54, was arrested in connection with an unsealed indictment in the Southern District of New York, but federal authorities said they would ask a judge today to unseal the indictment.

Combs, also known as Daddy and Puff Daddy, has been facing several legal issues since settling a lawsuit in November 2023 from his ex-girlfriend Casey Ventura, in which she claimed that she s3x is involved in trafficking and abuse.

The lawsuit was followed by at least a half-dozen others, including two women who accused Combs of sexual assault and a music producer who said he allegedly ostracized her from the university. Forced to approach and pressured to have s3x with them.

Combs was arrested by Homeland Security officials late Monday at a midtown Manhattan hotel and transported to the FBI's Manhattan field office, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

Authorities had planned to arrest Combs on Tuesday, but 'something happened' that led federal authorities to take him into custody earlier than planned, an official told the outlet.

Singer and reality TV star Aubrey O'Day, a one-time protégé of Combs, was one of the notable names to comment on the arrest.

'The purpose of justice is to provide closure and give us space to create a new chapter. Women never get it. I feel validated,' O'Day, 40, said.

“Today is a victory not only for me but for the women of the whole world. Things are finally changing.'

Attorney Lisa Bloom, who is representing one of the people suing Combs, released the following statement Monday: 'The brutal beating of Sean Combs' girlfriend caught on video and the eight people watching. For those who have now accused him of abuse in court circles, including my brave client Don Richard, this arrest seems long overdue.

'This is a big, moving day for the victims, but the arrest is just the beginning. Justice should be served to Mr. Coombs. We appeal to other accusers to come forward in solidarity and join us in this fight.'

Diddy's attorney, Mark Agnifilo, released a statement to DailyMail.com that read: 'We are disappointed by the US Attorney's Office's decision to prosecute Mr. Combs unfairly.

'Sean' Diddy' Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the past 30 years building an empire, loving his children, and working to advance the black community. Spent doing.

'He is an imperfect person but he [is] Not guilty. To his credit Mr.

Combs has been nothing but cooperative with the investigation and voluntarily moved to New York last week in anticipation of the charges.

Agnifilo added: 'Please reserve judgment until you have all the facts. These are the actions of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.'

Monday evening's indictment comes less than six months after federal authorities raided the music mogul's homes in Los Angeles and Miami on March 25.
