Police seized illegal liquor, hookah paraphernalia, tobacco packets and other illegal items from the premises. These items were taken into police custody. Thereafter, legal action was initiated, and a First Information Report (FIR) under Excise Act and COTPA Act 2003 was registered at Police Station Seemapuri. The seized items include 11 bottles of Jagermeister brand, 16 hookahs with pipes and drums, 8 hookah drum plates and a large quantity of tobacco packets. The investigation of the case is still ongoing.
In light of the Delhi Liquorgate scandal, the Delhi Police has stepped up efforts to curb the illegal sale of liquor within the city and increased scrutiny of license holders.
