Earlier this week, PM Modi announced the return of the monthly radio broadcast on X, saying, “Happy to announce that #MannKiBaat is back after a few months of hiatus due to elections! Mann Ki Baat's official x handle added, “@AkashvaniAIR will telecast the regional version of #MannKiBaat immediately after the original Hindi broadcast and again tomorrow at 8 PM on its respective regional channels.”

The Prime Minister also appealed to people to submit their ideas and suggestions for his radio broadcast through the MyGov Open Forum, through the Nimo app, or by recording messages on 1800 11 7800.

Previous and 110th episode of Mann Ki Baat

PM Modi's monthly 'Man Ki Baat' telecast aired its last episode on February 25, after which it was put on hold due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

PM Modi announced in the 110th edition of the program that “Mann Ki Baat will not be aired for the next three months in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

“Guys, the next time I talk to you, I will meet you with new energy and new information,” he concluded the final episode.

According to the Election Commission's Model Code of Conduct (MCC) guidelines, the government is prohibited from using official events or publicly funded platforms to gain unfair advantage over opponents. This was the reason behind the temporary suspension of the Prime Minister's 'Man Ki Baat'.

The 2024 Lok Sabha elections were held in seven phases from April 19 to June 1. The counting of votes ended on 4 June, resulting in the formation of the 18th Lok Sabha.
