Kareena Kapoor in Koffee With Karan Season 6

Here’s a glimpse of Kareena’s sharpest comments on chat shows over the years on her birthday:

my genre is bad movies

In her Koffee debut in season 1, when Karan asked Kareena who was a better actor between him and Rani, she said that they were of different styles. When Kareena was asked what her genre of films was, she jokingly said, “Bad films.” Well, that’s Kareena for you: sarcastic, but also self-deprecating.

John Abraham: ‘Expressionless’

In Season 2, when Karan asked in the infamous rapid fire round, the one word that comes to Kareena’s mind when he says, “John Abraham,” Kareena replied after a while, “Expressionless.” Later in the show, he also gave her a very low rating on the acting scale. Kareena had an altercation with John’s then girlfriend Bipasha Basu on the sets of Ajnabee.

‘Where does she get her accent from?’

In Season 3, when Karan asked Kareena if she had any questions for Priyanka, the actor replied, “Where does she get the accent?” Later, when Priyanka appeared on the same season and was asked for her reaction, she said, “The same place where her boyfriends get it from,” referring to the foreign education of Kareena’s then-boyfriend and now husband, Saif.

Katrina Kaif, my sister-in-law

Kareena did not even spare her cousin Ranbir in season 4. She said that she will dance to all the hit songs of his then girlfriend Katrina Kaif at Ranbir’s wedding. When Karan asked her which actor she would not mind having a homosexual relationship with, Kareena said, “I think I would be most comfortable with my sister-in-law Katrina Kaif,” much to Ranbir’s embarrassment.

IQ test winners with Alia, Sonam

In Season 5, Kareena was pregnant with Taimur, and her humor came with a whole new abandon. When Kareena was asked who would win the IQ test between her, Alia Bhatt and Sonam Kapoor, Kareena said, “I think I will win. Come on guys, I have to say this.” Best part: Sonam Coffey was sitting right next to him on the couch.

Kareena will next be seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s crime thriller Jaane Jaan, which releases today on Netflix India.
