Ahead of the much-awaited tournament, BCCI unveiled the new T20I kit at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in the presence of Rohit and board secretary Jay Shah.

The Indian cricket team will soon reunite for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 starting in West Indies and USA next month. The selectors have announced the names of the players who will fly to the West to take part in the showpiece event. Rohit Sharma & Co. will begin their campaign against Ireland, but fans are eagerly waiting for the most exciting encounter of the tournament – the India vs Pakistan match, which will be played on June 9 in Nassau County, New York.

Ahead of the much-awaited tournament, BCCI unveiled the new T20I kit at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in the presence of Rohit and board secretary Jay Shah. The Indian captain arrived at the event wearing a new-look white polo t-shirt with black stripes on the shoulders, which will likely be the team's travel kit for the upcoming tournament.

The captain then checked out the new blue training kit before unveiling the team's jersey, which also features yellow and black.

“It is time to welcome our team in new colours. “Presenting the new T20I #TeamIndia jersey with our Honorary Secretary @JayShah, Captain @ImRo45 and official kit partner @adidas,” BCCI posted on Twitter.

Last week, Adidas shared the launch video of the new T20I kit on social media. The video also featured captain Rohit and his teammates as they were present at the picturesque HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala.

The new T20 kit is an upgrade to the blue jersey that the players have been wearing in the shortest format since Adidas joined hands with the BCCI. The latest is a mix of India's training and match day kits, featuring saffron and blue with the BCCI crest on the chest.
