Samsung quietly launched its latest Galaxy A-series members with the Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s. Both new phones feature 6.7-inch LCDs with HD+ resolution on the A05 and FHD+ resolution on the A05s. The A05s has a 13MP front facing camera inside the waterdrop notch and the A05 has an 8MP shooter.
The big difference comes in the chipset department, where the A05s is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 while the A05 gets MediaTek’s Helio G85. Both phones come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage that can be expanded via microSD.
Both phones have the same 50MP main camera (f/1.8) with a 2MP depth assist, but the A05s also gets a 2MP macro shooter. Both phones have a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging support. The software side is covered by OneUI Core based on Android 13.
The Samsung Galaxy A05 comes in black, light green and silver colors while the A05s is also offered in purple. Pricing and availability details have not been shared yet but we should get more information in the coming days.
