It’s been a while since Samsung first made One UI 6 beta available for its S-series flagships, and its foldables were sidelined during this time. Well, not anymore. Starting today, the One UI 6 beta program based on Android 14 is available for both the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5.
If you want to enroll your Fold5 or Flip5 in the beta, you’ll need to go to the Samsung Members app, where a big banner advertising the beta should be found at the top. If you don’t see it, according to some reports, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the Samsung Members app, and then it will be there.
Once you tap on the corresponding banner, you will agree to some terms and then you will get the first beta in the form of an over-the-air update. Note that this is a 2.7GB download for the Fold5 and will likely be the same size for the Flip5.
Upon applying the update, the Fold5 build will be at F946BXXU1ZWJ2, while the Flip5 will be at F731U1UEU1ZWJ2. Note that the Fold5 is currently only eligible to participate in the beta in the US and India, and the same limitation may apply to the Flip5.
