Shakira went to attend an event in Miami over the weekend. During this, some people were seen taking pictures of her dress.
International singer Shakira was seen getting off the stage after some people started making a video of her dress. The Hips Don't Lie singer was spotted attending LIV Miami. She was invited on stage to dance to her recently released song Soltera. Once she got on stage, she started grooving to the song but soon she noticed that some people were making a video of her dress.
Shakira at first warned them and asked them not to make the video. She kept fixing her dress in an attempt to protect herself, but the group refused to heed her request. Though she tried to keep up a happy face, she was not amused by the crowd and angrily left the place. A video of her losing her temper has surfaced online.
The video has received a lot of backlash online, with many people criticising the actors for being indecent. “This is really disappointing behaviour. Performers should be given respect and privacy both on and off stage. It's important to ensure a safe environment for everyone,” one post read. “Whoever was filming should be arrested for sexual assault,” another said.
“This is disgusting. Shakira had every right to walk away, no one should have to face this kind of disrespect especially when she's performing her music. People need to learn basic decency!” a third user wrote.
Shakira has not yet commented on the incident.
The singer was in the news a few months ago over her breakup. She was in a relationship with Gerard Pique. The former couple were together for 11 years. During their relationship, they had two children – son Milan, 11, and Sasha, nine. Shakira and Gerard finally split in 2022. Gerard allegedly cheated on her.
