Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are set to get married this month. Ahead of their wedding, the actress' father Shatrughan Sinha confirmed his presence at the wedding. In an interview with Zoom, the veteran actor and politician addressed false reports that claimed he would not be present at the ceremony. He said, “Tell me, whose life is this? This is only the life of my only daughter Sonakshi, whom I am very proud of and love immensely. She calls me her pillar of strength. I will definitely be present at the wedding. Why shouldn't I be and why won't I be?”
He added, “The fact that I am still in Mumbai shows that I am here not only as their pillar of strength but also as their real armour. Sonakshi and Zaheer have to live their lives together. They look great together.”
Commenting on fake news circulating online, he said, “I would like to caution them with my special message: Shut up, it's none of your business. Just mind your own business.”
A few days ago, Sonakshi hosted a party(seems like it was a bachelorette party). Double XL Co-star Huma Qureshi was also among the attendees. Sonakshi's close friends also attended the party. The actress shared a series of pictures on Instagram Stories. In one picture, she is seen posing with Huma. In another picture, Sonakshi and her “gang” are seen smiling for the camera. The venue is decorated with golden, white and silver balloons. Sonakshi looks stunning in a black sequin dress.
Meanwhile, Zaheer had fun with his close friends. His companions also included Huma Qureshi's brother and actor Saqib Saleem, who joined Zaheer in the celebrations.
ICYDK: Sonakshi and Zaheer have been rumoured to be dating since 2020. They shared screen space in a 2022 film Double XL. He also appeared in the music video Pair Blockbuster Last year.
