New Delhi: Gangster turned terrorist Sukhdol Singh Citing reports from Canada on Thursday morning, intelligence sources said alias Sukha Donke was allegedly hit by unidentified gunmen in Canada on Wednesday. Official confirmation from local law enforcement agencies about the killing is awaited.
It would be another gang-related killing on Canadian soil, the sources said, adding that rivalry between Khalistani extremists is fueling the killings.
Reports suggest Donneke was shot dead by rivals in the Winnipeg area.
Donike, who hailed from Muga in Punjab, was a close associate of Khalistan Tiger Force-designated terrorist Arash Dullah. The two were trying to revive the outfit after terrorist Hardeep Singh Najjar was killed by rivals in June this year.
