Suryakumar Yadav trolled fellow Indian cricket team star Yashasvi Jaiswal on social media with captain Rohit Sharma's famous “Garden mein ghumega” dialogue. Jaiswal posted a picture of himself roaming the streets of New York ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024. Suryakumar was quick to comment on the picture, writing – “Be careful. If he roams in the garden, you know it.”

This dialogue became very famous during India's Test series against England, when Rohit was heard scolding the fielders on the stump mic.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team has started practice in New York ahead of the T20 World Cup.

Vice-captain Hardik Pandya shared photos of the Indian cricket team's practice, revealing that he has joined the squad ahead of the tournament, with the caption – “On national duty”.

India opted for ground sessions under strength and conditioning coach Soham Desai on Wednesday.

“We didn't have any practice session today as the aim of the ground session was to acclimatise the body to the timing zone. The main aim of playing in foreign conditions is to prepare your body and be mentally ready for the challenges, so that's what we are working on right now,” he told BCCI.

Skipper Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and travel substitutes Shubman Gill and Khaleel Ahmed were involved in the activity.

India will play their only practice match against Bangladesh on June 1 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

Their T20 World Cup campaign will begin against Group A opponents Ireland on June 5 in New York, followed by the much-anticipated clash against Pakistan on June 9.
