The bodies of two Liberty County firefighters have been recovered


SAVANNAH, Georgia (WTOC) – The bodies of two missing Liberty County firefighters, Regan Anderson and Chandler Kuhbander, have been found along with Anderson’s vehicle, according to the Hinesville Police Department.

Their bodies were found inside a vehicle along Hollow Road in Cosby on Sunday morning, according to the Cocke County Sheriff's Office. Autopsies are being conducted to determine the cause and manner of death.

Anderson was last seen at Liberty County Fire Services Station #1 in Midway, Georgia. Kuhbander was last seen on security footage leaving a gym in Savannah last Tuesday morning.

WTOC has been following this story since the two were reported missing. Kuhbandar's family spoke with WTOC last week.

Liberty County Fire Services issued a statement expressing their condolences.
