The Flying Eagles beat Ghana to win the WAFU Cup title.

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria retained the WAFU B U-20 title after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Ghana at the Stade Kigou in Lome.

Kparobo Arierhi broke the deadlock for Nigeria, slotting the ball into the net after receiving a pass on the edge of the box.

Erirehi doubled Nigeria's lead with another powerful effort late in the first half.

Ghana fought back in the second half, troubling the Flying Eagles defense time and time again.

Jerry Afriyie reduced the Black Satellites' deficit 14 minutes from time with a goalmouth scramble.

It was Afriyie's fifth goal of the tournament.

Both Nigeria and Ghana have qualified for the 2025 Africa Under-20 Cup of Nations to be hosted by South Africa in January.
