The man explained that he recently paid the boy's WAEC and JAMB fees, but when the boy was admitted to Unilorin to study civil engineering, the boy's mother instructed him to Don't tell the man.

However, the boy found a way to inform him, and the man even sent money to help with the boy's food and lodging.

When the boy's mother found out, she allegedly punished him.

The man shared his thoughts and said:The boy I paid his WAEC and JAMB fees got admission to study Civil Engineering in Unilorin. His mother told him not to tell me, but the boy insisted and told me.

He continued: “Mom found out because I sent the boy food and money for lodging. He beat her. This is the boy who didn't want to go to school three years ago. He lived in a betting shop, playing virtual games and begging for handouts. I put him where he could learn barbing, and now he is in school. Yesterday, I found out that his mother beat him on my request. It hurts.”

Expressing his frustration, he said: “All those uncles who helped with his university fees didn't even know about his trip. What am I supposed to do? Turn something happy into nonsense. Still, I'm sorry for this boy. I'm happy.”
