Gurgaon: Residents of RD City Complained about the dilapidated condition of internal roads, the repair work was supposed to start two months ago. The MCG had allocated work on August 7 this year for the construction of 9m, 10m and 12m size paver blocks on the roads. Two tenders were floated for the work, bringing the total estimated cost of the revamp to Rs 3.9 crore.
However, no work has been done on the ground, alleged locals, adding that repeated complaints have been made to the MCG authorities but nothing has been done. According to the residents, the internal roads were laid by the developer a decade ago and since then the roads have been riddled with potholes and potholes. In 2020, residents raised money to re-carpet some streets after several accidents were reported in the past.
