New Delhi:

The Women’s Reservation Bill or Nari Shakti Vandan Adhanim is being debated in the Rajya Sabha. The bill was passed by the Lok Sabha with an overwhelming majority, after a day of heated debates in which leaders of the BJP and opposition parties came face-to-face. Another point of contention was the timeline for the bill’s implementation, with opposition parties scrambling to get the legislation passed before next year’s general election.
