It has some notable compromises, such as a reflective screen that will likely leave users struggling to avoid glare, ordering from AliExpress, and an older Android 11 OS that isn’t fully translated from Chinese to English.
The display is also a few years behind the 300ppi e-paper panels you now get on Kindles, Kobos, and even the Boox Palma, which has a 5.84-inch E Ink screen with a resolution of just 276ppi. The InkPalm Plus also only has 2GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 2250mAh battery, while the Palma has 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 3,950mAh battery.
The Boox Palma's storage can be expanded further using a microSD card, and it has a microphone and 16-megapixel camera, but as Moltz points out, you probably won't be using these to capture video or even watch video.
