Mercedes-Benz E-Class: Interior
The interior of the sixth generation E-Class is completely different from the dashboard design of the current model. Inspired by the Mercedes EQ model, the new E-Class features the Hyper Screen which combines three huge displays behind a seamless glass panel. These include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17.7-inch OLED touchscreen infotainment unit and a 12.3-inch OLED passenger display, all of which run on the latest MBUX software.
Other notable equipment could include multi-colour dynamic ambient lighting, Burmester premium sound system, four-zone climate control, electrically reclining rear seats, air suspension and more. Mercedes could also add a full ADAS suite to the new E-Class to fend off the challenge from the 5-Series.
