The TOD zone in the city will be 42 km from Sahibabad to Modi Nagar North along the Blue and Red Lines of the Delhi Metro and Rapid Rail. While 9.3 km of the Red Line enters the city, only 2.6 km of the Blue Line is in Ghaziabad.
Asked how the GDA planned to use the TOD policy to increase its revenue, Chief Architect and Town Planner Ajay Singh said, “The FAR with the TOD zone will be increased to 5 from the current 1.5.
