ForbesToday's NYT 'Connections' Prompts and Answers for Sunday, June 30

Hello, everyone! Welcome to the start of a new week! Somehow, we are already at the midpoint of 2024. The first half of the year was good for me. Hope it continues, and the rest of 2024 will be great for you too.

Today's new york times Relationship The hints and answers are revealed immediately.

How to play Connection

In RelationshipYou are shown a grid of 16 words. Your task is to arrange them into four groups of four by finding the links between them. These groups could be things like a horror movie franchise, a type of verb, or a rapper.

Each puzzle has only one solution, and you'll have to be careful with words that might fit into more than one category. You can shuffle the words to help you see the connections between them.

Each group is color coded. The yellow group is usually the easiest to understand, blue and green fall in the middle, and the purple group is usually the most difficult. The purple group often involves word play, so keep that in mind.

Choose four words that you think go together and press submit. If you guess and you're wrong, you'll lose a life. If you're close to the correct group, you might see a message telling you that you're one word away from being right, but you still have to figure out which word to swap.

If you make four mistakes, it's game over. Let's make sure that doesn't happen with some tips, and if you're really struggling, read today's article. Relationship answer.

This is your last warning!

Today's Relationship The answers are…

  • Yellow group – show the way (direction, guidance, leadership, entry)
  • Green Group – Scheme (Con, Hustle, Racket, Sting)
  • Blue group – seen on the US dollar bill (Eagle, Pyramid, Seal, Washington)
  • Purple group – first word of Canadian provinces/territories (British, North-West, Nova Scotia, Prince's)

My second loss in a row was disappointing because a) it's Canada Day and I should have understood that and b) this is the country I live in. Now I'm worried I won't be back after my vacation.

I saw Sting, Usher and Prince as soon as I stepped out of the gate, but didn't see any other mononymous singers accompanying them. I then turned my attention to the Greens, but made a mistake by including Pyramid instead of Sting at first. I fixed that for my first group.

Then I figured out the yellow before I got into trouble. I had no clue about blue or purple. Nova should have been a good enough clue for the latter. But after a few random guesses, my luck ran out.

That's all for today Relationship Clues and Answers. If you need hints and solutions for Tuesday's game be sure to check out my blog.

P.S. On Friday I went to a really fun show featuring both The Darkness (a band I love a lot) and the always fun Busted. So let's go with my favorite song from the latter to start this week off.
