A Jaipur-based influencer has alleged that a driver contracted by taxi aggregator Uber tried to snatch her phone and harass her while she was on her way to pick up her daughter from school. Digital content creator Manali Gupta narrated the entire incident through a video on Instagram.

“During my recent Uber ride to pick up my daughter from school, I was busy on a phone call when the driver suddenly tried to grab my phone,” the mother of two captioned the video.

In the video, he can be heard narrating his ordeal and added that he hopes Uber will take necessary action against the driver.

He added that when he tried to grab his phone, he asked the driver to stop the vehicle. He revealed that his request from the driver went unanswered. “Surprised, I protested, and he responded with verbal abuse. Fearing for my safety, I immediately pleaded with him to stop the vehicle, but he ignored my pleas and Speed ​​up,” he wrote.
