UGC NET Date 2024 Live: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the re-examination for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET June 2024) will be held from August 21 to September 4. In another major development, NTA has decided to re-conduct the UGC NET exam in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode instead of pen and paper. The June edition of the exam was the first time it was conducted offline (pen and paper) but NTA has decided to go back to the old way of conducting the test in online (CBT) mode.
UGC NET for junior research fellowships, appointment as assistant professors and admissions to PhD degree courses were canceled a day after the June 18 test due to fears that the “integrity of the examination would be compromised.” has been done”.

The NEETPG exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has also been postponed amid alleged irregularities in the conduct of these national level entrance exams. The board president had earlier said that the new date of the test would be announced by next week.
