A video that did the rounds earlier showed the moment his mother was honored at the ceremony when she was called as the valedictorian.
Sharing a video of the moment on his Twitter page, he noted that his mother had been raising the family since his father passed away.
She prayed to God to bless her and every other mother like her around the world.

“After shaking hands with the VC, I heard my mother scream. I hugged her, and the VC asked her to come on stage. She knelt before the dignitaries — humbled and happy.
Tears filled my eyes. She has been taking care of our family since father's death.
God bless the mother. May Allah bless every mother like her.”
