SpaceX is preparing for two back-to-back launches of Starlink satellites on a Falcon 9 from Florida on Sunday, October 8 and from California on Monday, October 9.
The first batch of 21 Starlink satellites will launch into low-Earth orbit at 12:23 a.m. ET from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.
Sunday’s Falcon 9 launch will be the 14th flight of the first-stage booster to launch this Starlink mission, having previously supported Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich, DART, Transporter-7, Iridium OneWeb, SDA-0B and eight Starlink missions. After stage separation, the rocket’s first stage will land on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship deployed in the Pacific Ocean.
The second batch will lift off at 9:06 a.m. ET on Monday from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
Monday’s launch will be the 14th flight of the Falcon 9 first stage booster supporting this mission, having previously flown CRS-22, Crew-3, Turksat 5B, Crew-4, CRS-25, Eutelsat Hotbird 13G, MPower-A, PSN Satria Has been launched. , and five Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage will land on “A Shortfall of Gravitas” droneship deployed in the Atlantic Ocean.
The live webcast of both launches will begin on @SpaceX approximately five minutes before liftoff.
