Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star batsman Virat Kohli and Delhi Capitals (DC) fast bowler Ishant Sharma were involved in a light-hearted banter during their IPL 2024 match on Sunday. After hitting two fours on Ishant, Kohli was seen teasing him. In the first over, Kohli edged the ball past the keeper, but there was no one at first slip to stop the ball from going past the boundary. The RCB batsman went to Ishant and asked him to take slip for the next ball.

For the second time, Kohli hit the veteran for a no-look six over deep wicket. However, Ishant got the laugh on the last ball of the innings when he dismissed Kohli on the fourth ball of the over.

It was Ishant's turn to make fun of Kohli. He drew it happily, which Kohli accepted with a bow of his head and a sarcastic smile on his face. Kohli-Ishant's bromance came to the fore in the fourth over of RCB's innings.

Kohli and Ishant go back to their early playing days in Delhi. Ishant has also played for the Indian team under the captaincy of Kohli. The spat between the two created a wave of memes on social media.

Later in the game, when it was Ishant's turn to come out to bat, Kohli teased the lanky Delhi Capitals star.

Ishant might have been able to get rid of Kohli in the match, but the final victory was Kohli's as RCB emerged victorious and managed to keep themselves in the race for the playoffs. As far as Delhi is concerned, they are practically out of the race for the top 4, but mathematically still in contention.
