New Delhi: A part of A Bridge Goat fell on the river on Tuesday in Bihar. Arria. No casualties were reported.
The bridge constructed by the state government was not opened to the public as the roads leading to the bridge were not yet constructed. This bridge connects Karsa Kanta and Sukti areas of Arria district.

“After the river flow changed, the usefulness of the bridge was reduced.However, the district administration has taken notice of the incident. Officials of Rural Works Department will reach Arria tomorrow and assess the situation. Strict action will be taken against those who are responsible for this incident,” says JD(U) leader Neeraj Kumar on the collapse of a portion of a bridge in Bihar's Arria.
Sakti MLA Vijay Kumar blamed the construction company for the accident, saying, “The bridge collapsed due to the negligence of the owner of the construction company. We demand an inquiry from the administration.”
In 2020, another bridge collapsed due to heavy rains and 12 people, including four motorcyclists, fell into the Bakra River. It almost fell. Udahat under the Jokehot Police station area in the district.
