Now sales have begun at all stores that are still open. The sales began on June 28 with discounts ranging from 30 to 70 percent, according to the business closure announcement.
What if you have a gift card?
The company said gift cards and merchandise credits will be valid until the close of business on July 14. Items purchased after that will not be able to be exchanged, according to the closing announcement.
What to know about closing
The company said it “was unable to raise the financing necessary to continue operating Bob's Stores” and filed for bankruptcy protection on June 18.
“We regret that our financial condition has forced the closing of Bob's Stores. Bob's has been an important part of our local communities for nearly 70 years, and we know our customers remember us as being there for important moments in their lives. We are grateful to our vendors, suppliers, customers and employees for their support over the years,” Dave Barton, president of Bob's Stores, said in a statement.
