Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are soon going to embark on a new journey as they eagerly await their much-awaited wedding on June 23. However, Sonakshi's wedding also has a Salman Khan connection. Sonakshi's would-be father-in-law and Zaheer's father Iqbal Ratansi had once lent money to the Sikandar actor. Salman Khan-Iqbal Ratansi friendship
Salman had written in a Twitter post in 2018, “And this is my childhood friend Iqbal, as a teenager he was my bank, I am still indebted to him 2011. Thank God he didn't take any interest in it (laughing emoji) If I am launching my son, I should post about my father. I like the picture a lot.” Ratansi is in the construction and jewellery business. His daughter and Zaheer's sister Sanam Ratansi is a well-known Bollywood celebrity stylist. For those who don't know, Zaheer's acting debut Notebook was produced by Salman. Salman later worked as an assistant director in his 2014 film Jai Ho.
About Iqbal Ratnani's business
According to a DNA report, Ratansi founded Stelmach Developers Pvt Ltd in 2005 and was its director till 2011. He then started Blackstone Housing and Infrastructure Pvt Ltd. The report also mentions Ratansi's film production equipment business. He started the company in February 2016 and named it Film Tools, Lights and Grip. He founded another company called Zahero Media and Internet Pvt Ltd during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sonakshi and Zaheer worked together in Double XL, which also co-starred Huma Qureshi, who also co-produced the film. Though the couple never shies away from sharing pictures and reels of their romantic vacations and date nights, they haven't spoken to the media about the same. However, with their wedding date this weekend approaching, rumours are rife about the bride and groom's families and the expected guests.
Sonakshi is the daughter of veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha and veteran actor-politician Poonam Sinha.
