Szczesny has been in Marbella with his family since retiring in the summer but is believed to be ready to come out of retirement and help Barcelona following Marc-Andre ter Stegen's horror injury.
The 34-year-old may need some time to get back up to speed, but he is believed to rival Inaki Pena for the No.1 spot for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign while the Germany international remains out.
