Women arrested as officers at Delhi airport, case registered

New Delhi:

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel deployed at the Delhi airport on Thursday arrested a woman, who was allegedly found roaming around the Delhi airport wearing a CISF uniform, on Thursday. She pretends to be a CISF official.

The woman was handed over to the Delhi Police, CISF officials said. A case under Section 171 has also been registered at the IGI Airport Police Station.

According to the FIR registered by a CISF official at the IGI police station, “On May 9 at around 19:50 hrs, a suspicious woman, Anjali Ojha, in CISF uniform (with camouflage T-shirt (camouflage pants, black DMS shoes) with khaki socks) and loitering near the staff canteen of the Arrivals T2 terminal at IGI Airport, New Delhi.”

The FIR further states that on questioning the woman, she initially said that she was working in the CISF and was currently posted at DMRC, Delhi.

“On further questioning, she said that she had come to pick up someone, and that she is not in the CISF and is working at M/s Gratis Co. Pvt. Ltd. Khanpur, Delhi,” the FIR said.

He added that her activities were found suspicious and she was hiding facts during interrogation.
