A women's college soccer game turned chaotic on Sunday, August 25, when two opponents tried to tackle each other.
Rutgers traveled to UMass for an afternoon contest and chaos ensued when the Scarlet Knights' Gia Girman fouled an opponent from behind in the 55th minute.
The UMass player's teammate, Ashley Lamond, quickly tried to take the free kick, but she and Jarman tangled as the former tried to catch the ball.
From there, Lamond pushed Garman before punches were thrown in both directions and Garman threw his opponent to the ground.
Garman continued to punch Lamond while she was on top of him, while Lamond pulled his opponent's hair in an ugly scene.
As the fight broke out, players from both sides moved in to separate the pair.
After this, Garman and Lamond were both sent off and both sides had to play with 10 men for the last 35 minutes of the game.
The hosts eventually won 1-0 after an 81st-minute goal from Bela Recinos.
