Xiaomi 14 Pro certified with 120W charging support

Xiaomi is already clearing legal hurdles before launching its 14 series, and the Pro member of the lineup has recently been certified by 3C. The smartphone with model number 23116PN5BC will support 120W wired charging, just like its two predecessors.

The presence on 3C (Chinese Compulsory Certification) means that the phone has passed the mandatory testing and takes another step towards market availability.

We already learned that the Xiaomi 14 will be coming with 90W charging, which is an upgrade from the 13 series, but apparently, the manufacturer has agreed to stick with 120W for the Pro variant.

The Xiaomi 14 series is expected to arrive in November, just days after Qualcomm announced its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is scheduled for October 24. There is a big shopping holiday in China on November 11th, called Singles Day, and Xiaomi will be looking forward to it so that its flagships are ready on time.

Xiaomi is likely to introduce its flagship at the right time when local consumers are in a position to spend, although the international launch may take some time. The previous series took over 2 months to go from local to global, and we expect similar growth with the 14 lineup.
